We've had a couple of exciting days, finally Christmas was here.

On Christmas Eve (24th) we went for High Tea at a fancy hotel. I got to pretend I was a lady with my Babyccino (like a Cappuccino, without the coffee). While we were there, Santa/Christkind came to our house to drop off some presents.

Kindergarten Graduation Concert

Today was our Kindergarten Graduation Concert. These kids below are in K2, which means they are now ready to go to school

Mid Autumn Festival

The Chinese celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival every year. It is during the 7th month of the Lunar New Year (so basically 1/2 year after Chinese New Year). Traditionally the childen have a lantern festival and Mooncakes are the special food of this season.

We took a holiday to Australia recently. What fun we had!

meeting Mrs Kangaroo for the first time. She was quite a curious one. I actually though it was a Hasi (rabbit) at first, but now I know better. The fur of a roo is very soft.

We just returned back to Singapore from our summer holidays in Europe. It was a lot of fun and we did many things. No time to update the blog, so here are some pictures of what we have been up to.

one Sunday we took a horse carriage through the old town of Vienna. I love horses, so this was a real treat for me. I think I never sat this still for 45 minutes!!!

We saw something very special at the Singapore Bird Park today. As part of the Chinese New Year celebrations, the flamingos were let loose. What fun to watch these birds, who all seem to have an attitude! Please forgive the poor quality, as usual Mama was without her camera and her mobile phone had to make do on this occasion.

Hello folks!

It´s been a while since the last entry, but we are currently in Austria and are so busy, it is hard to keep up.

Some/most of you are aware that we were planning to go on a 3 day cycling trip with the whole family, 12 of us in total.

The previous days it poured down and we were all a bit worried about getting wet....as you can see there was quite a bit of flooding going on. These pictures are from our town visit of Passau...

the streets were totally flooded and people were walking on raised platforms...

...so we decided to do a bit of sight-seeing and cut the first 25km of our cycling route short. We visited a tree top walk...we were told 351 stairs, but my uncles said they wanted me there and would do the hard work....luckily the 351 stairs were spread out along this 2km walk.

Some call them crazy! You are looking at the Subaru Imprezza Challenge 2009. Its' the 7th year running. 400 contestants place their hand on a car and the last person standing wins the car! The current record is 82 hours. This means 82 hours without sleep, a 5 minute break every 6 hours, standing there come rain or shine (and we've had some pretty strong thunderstorms this weekend and temperatures of around 33 degrees), not being able to move your hand (also changing of hands is not allowed).

As I am telling you this story, it is day 3 with about 70 contestants left to battle it out. Fun to watch but a bit strange if you ask me!

Last Sunday, I visited the Singapore Zoo with Mom and Dad. We have a one year pass so we can go as many times as we want. This time Dad carried me around in the Bjorn, which was so much fun, as I was able to see the animals much better.

Hello everyone!

For the past 10 days I have been eating my purees, mainly rice cereal, pumpkin, sweet potato, pear, apple, banana and carrot (which I am taking a break from, because my stomach cannot digest it very well).

I like to eat! I probably have this from mommy and daddy, they both like to eat.

I am still practicing the art of how to eat though.....

Finally the weather has improved and so today my cousins came for a visit and a swim. The large pool unfortunately is too cold for me (22 degrees), but the little inflatable one was perfect.

It was a long, but beautiful day. I missed my christening due to nap times, but was well aware of the party afterwards. Somehow I knew that I was the most important person that day! Take a look at the pictures!

Hello from Europe everyone!

Anyway I´ve been in Europe for 12 days now and really enjoying the weather. It was a bit cold in the beginning and mum wrapped me up like a sausage. I did not like being dressed in so many layers, but at least I was warm...

Mother's Day

Today was Mother's Day. I really don't know what this means, but Daddy told me that I had to be a really good girl and behave all day! Well, I have to say that this was really hard for me. I was a bit grumpy in the morning and afternoon, but then I took some naps and things got a bit better. I even managed to smile a bit for Mommy.

Then something exciting happened: I went for my very first swim. All week, my mom and Dewi, my nanny, took me to our condo's pool to put my legs into the water. But today was the real thing!

The past 12 weeks

Most of my time I spend with my mommy and my nanny. We take a trip somewhere every day, because I need to get used to riding in the car, which is something I don't really like. I almost always cry in the car...

I love my daddy, but he is away a lot...
